‘Ebony’ Power 100 gala brings out stars, celebrates magazine’s 70th anniversary


Ebony Magazine held its annual Power 100 Gala presented by Nationwide at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Wednesday, Dec. , 2015 in Beverly Hills, California. Ebony has been celebrating the accomplishments of a handpicked list of 100 of the most influential and intriguing men and women in Black America for the past 70 years.

From “Blackish” co-stars Tracee Ellis Ross to Tina Knowles, A-list stars were in the building.

Honorees of the night included Janelle Monae, Jesse Williams, Prince, John Legend, J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar, Lee Daniels, Drake, Jidenna, Janet Jackson, Regina King, Salim and Mara Brock Akil, Viola Davia, Wendy Williams, Jada Pinkett Smith, Zendaya, Willow and Jaden Smith.

Recording artists, reverends, politicians, and CEOs of Fortune 500 Companies made the cut for this year’s coveted list of honorees.

This event was very private and invite only, and we got the inside exclusive, as we caught up with lots of stars as they graced the red carpet. –demi lobo
