NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey went from having one of the strongest friendships on reality TV to becoming bitter, feuding enemies last year when their friendship fell apart over petty arguing and shade. At one point, Leakes vowed that she would never be friends with Bailey again, and Bailey declared that she had moved on with her life without Leakes. But during a recent appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Leakes spoke about her old friend and seemed to have a change of heart.

As fans of the former BFFs have noticed, both stars recently posted pictures of each other hanging out together.

Of course, fans have been speculating that Leakes and Bailey have finally buried the hatchet and recovered their friendship. And according to Leakes, she and Bailey are indeed back on good terms now.

“I think Cynthia and I we’re in a really good place, right now,” Leakes said.

Cohen then asked Leakes if it meant a lot to her that Bailey, even in the middle of their feud, came to Leakes’ side to console her during last season’s reunion when Leakes had a breakdown on set when talking about being abandoned by her late mother.

“Oh yeah, Cynthia and I were very close so yeah it meant a lot to me and I know that Cynthia felt for me. We were always very close. When we were having our issues, I was very surprised with where it had gone and I’m happy that we have made peace and that we’re in a good place,” Leakes explained.

Well, we’re glad to see that Bailey and Leakes have been able to break the reality TV curse and get their friendship back on track. And we hope to see some of that renewed friendship when Leakes returns to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” later this season.
