On Saturday, Oct. 9 celebrity fitness guru Jeanette Jenkins and the Black Girls Run campaign gave Atlanta a taste of The Hollywood Trainer Club with a super energizing workout session at Buckhead’s premier all women’s gym Roc House fitness. With 25+ years in the business, Jenkins has worked with some of the entertainment industry’s biggest stars including Kelly Rowland, P!nk, Serena Williams, LL Cool J, Alicia Keys, Kimora Lee Simmons, Queen Latifah, Swizz Beats, Terrence J and more. Her intense clinics are now giving everyday women a chance to train their bodies like an A-lister.

“When you exercise, your body releases positive endorphins causing you to feel more confident and motivated,” she says. In addition, to the intense class, Jenkins hosted a 30-minute Q&A with participants to discuss various solutions to stay consistent with their individual fitness journeys in the 2016 new year. Rolling out spoke to Jenkins to find out more on The Hollywood Trainer Club, exercise tips for beginners and how to join her program.

Why did you decide to do fitness pop-up shops?
I decided to do to these Hollywood trainer pop-up workouts because I launched an online social media club called The Hollywood Trainer Club. I already have five-hundred members, so I want to continue to inspire men and women to choose a healthy life. I am 42 and I feel like I am in my 20s. It really is just a matter of being consistent, so by coming and doing intimate workouts with 10-15 women, you get the chance to motivate them. Sometimes, all people need is someone to push them and let them know they care. I feel like God put me on this planet to help encourage people to live a healthy life.

For women just starting to workout out again, what kind of exercise advice can you share with them?
For women just starting to workout, they need to allow themselves to be a beginner. Every person you see in the gym that is in shape didn’t start off that way. You can’t expect yourself to be able to succeed at everything as soon as you do it, so accept the challenge and take your time. Each time you do the workouts your form is going to get better and you will continue to feel better about yourself.

Where can people go to sign-up for your program?
To join my club, they can go to www.thehollywoodtrainerclub.com. It costs $20 a month to be a member. I designed it specifically for beginners so that they don’t have to learn all this information at once.  All they have to do is log-in and every day they will experience something new. They will get a daily meal plan and an exercise routine. The program is awesome and it works.
