When Caitlyn Jenner revealed that she was transgender and began her transition to becoming a woman last year, it wasn’t just the world that was shocked by the news; it was also his famous family that seemed to be taken aback by the revelation. Jenner documented life after her transition with her reality show, “I Am Cait,” and captured many of the tense moments she had with her family over her transition. But according to Jenner’s stepdaughter Khloe Kardashian, it was just the initial shock that upset the family; she claims it was also Jenner’s lies.

According to media reports, Kardashian spoke about Jenner’s transition in a recent interview and claimed that her stepparent deceived the family on numerous occasions about the details of her transition.

“People would think that we were lying … But no, we believed him,” Kardashian said as she explained that she found out about Jenner’s plans to transition during an E! meeting. “They mentioned Bruce had a television show about transitioning, and that’s the first we heard of it. … We felt betrayed because more businesspeople [knew].”

She continued, “We felt so, like, what the f—! We’ve been asking you, and why do [business ]people know? I never want someone to feel like they have a one-up on our family. We’ve never turned our backs on each, with all the cluster f–ks of s–t in our lives, so why would we now?”

Kardashian explained that she tried to talk with Jenner about her transition, but her stepparent would always find an excuse not to talk about it.

“He would only want to talk to us on camera,” Kardashian explained. “I think for security he felt we couldn’t get upset [on camera] or whatever.”

But that’s not all that Kardashian says that Jenner kept from the family. See what else she kept a secret from them, after the cut.
