The highlight of the evening was an intimate Q-and-A with Sophia Amoruso, author of the New York Times best-seller #GirlBoss and Nasty Gal founder. This hourlong segment moderated by Sabrina Peterson detailed Amoruso’s journey from an aspiring entrepreneur to a cultural icon. Preceeding her panel, Amoruso was thanked and formally welcomed to the city of Atlanta by Sarah Elizabeth Reed, wife of Mayor Kasim Reed and the city of Atlanta’s first lady.
