In music news, rapper Fetty Wap sends an inspiring message to his biggest fan.

Over the weekend, the New Jersey native sent some inspiring words to 10-year-old Anthony, who is currently battling an anoxic brain injury after suffering from a near-drowning accident via seizure, while bathing in August 2015. The child’s mother posted the motivational message via Instagram, thanking the 24-year-old for his support. She captioned it, “Still in aw! My kids truly lite up when this video came through! ? We are a soulful household and we listen to all walks of music. But Anthony loved saying YYYEEEAAAA BABY! I remember the first time he heard it, it stuck and we had to hear it all the time. Between ‘My Way’ and @abelxo ‘Earned it’ we would have to tell him to go get his headphones or sown thing ???”

Adding, “Again this was truly amazing and Fetty is a beautiful soul for taking time to personally speak to Anthony!” According to his mother’s Gofundme page, she is a single mother with three additional kids. Due to Anthony’s severe disability, numerous weekly appointments, and a lack of consistent nursing staff she is unable to work.

In the clip, the rapper praises the pre-teen’s willpower on the road to recovery. “You and your family are in my prayers. You’re such a fighter because you made it this far,” he said. “Your mom told me you’re such a big fan so you got to make sure you get well soon, buddy.”

This isn’t the first time the “Trap Queen” recording artist has demonstrated that he’s a man of the people. Last year, he encouraged a young boy, Jayden, to embrace his uniqueness after losing his right eye to Retinoblastoma, an eye cancer commonly found in children. “All I wanna do is show ppl that it’s not how you look or what you see it’s how you see it and what your looking for from yourself,” he wrote via Instagram. “I appreciate his confidence I appreciate you taking the time out for me and thank you for being a fan of me as a person and thank lil man for being a fan of Fetty Wap.”
