After enjoying his final few months of freedom, Mendeecees Harris checked himself into prison last week to begin his 8-year sentence for drug trafficking. Although the “Love & Hip Hop” star isn’t in a high-security prison, a new report claims that one thing Harris won’t be able to enjoy behind bars is watching his wife, Yandy Smith, on TV.

As previously reported, Harris checked into the minimum-security FCI Allenwood Federal Prison in Pennsylvania, where inmates are allowed to watch TV. However, Vh1 isn’t offered in his prison so Harris won’t be able to catch up on “Love & Hip Hop” to see his wife on his TV screen every week.

Although Harris won’t be able to get his “LHHNY” fix, one perk he can enjoy is that he’ll have better food options than a lot of prisoners.

The report claims that the prison has a decent food menu:
Breakfast: bananas, oatmeal, bread with margarine, milk, coffee.
Lunch: baked chicken, sweet potato, collard greens, bread with margarine, fruit and beverages.
Dinner: spaghetti with meat sauce, spinach, and bread with margarine.

Well, Harris may be stuck eating prison food and missing “LHHNY,” but he won’t have to do it forever. As previously reported, Harris already spent 15 months in jail over the same charges, so he’ll likely only have to spend seven years behind bars at best with good behavior.
