Will Packer, Nia Long, Terrence J and Michael Ealy were just a few of the celebrities who attended the 24th annual Trumpet Awards. Founded by Xernona Clayton, each year it gets better, and this year was no exception as the show opened with a performance by Salt, Pepa, Spinderella, Monie Love, YoYo and MC Lyte, who got the show started in rare hip-hop party form.

Rolling out was able to get some great inside photos of your favorite people who didn’t walk the red carpet and went straight inside for warmth. We bring you an exclusive photo gallery that goes beyond the outdoor red carpet.

Seems there was a lot of spice added to the show this year with Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Ne-Yo and filmmaker Will Packer (Ride Along 2Think Like a Man) both receiving Trumpet Awards. Bounce TV knew they had to pump of the volume. Al B. Sure! served as the show’s announcer; Terrence J and Nia Long were the hosts.
