Megachurch leader Bishop Eddie Long has revealed that he once considered suicide after being accused of sexual misconduct with young men known as his “spiritual sons” in 2010. Four lawsuits against Long were dismissed but it took its toll on Long and on New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.

    These “journalists” on this site.smh. The charges/lawsuits were not “dismissed” as that suggests that there was no action taken against Long whatsoever. They were civil cases settled out of court, meaning that the victims were paid to not pursue the civil cases further.

      You are correct! The article is not accurately written. There was a pay out to keep to make the accusers disappear. Sad.
