When Kim Fields was added to the cast of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” last year, many fans were left scratching their heads as to why the ’80s and ’90s sitcom legend would come back from her TV hiatus and join a reality TV show. And it wasn’t just fans who were confused by the casting. Many of her “RHOA” cast mates were baffled as well, especially Kenya Moore, who seemed intent on ostracizing and shading Fields. Now, Kandi Burruss is sharing her opinion on the matter and telling fans what she really thought of having Fields on the show.

During last night’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” Burruss talked about the show and was asked whether she felt Fields was a good fit for the show.

“I felt like she was extremely positive, which was a good thing. But I don’t think it feels well with the girls on the show because, you know, she never dealt with the conflict or even wanted to deal with the conversation of conflict. She would always walk away and if we walked away every time it got uncomfortable, there would be no show,” she said.

As fans know, last night was the season finale of “RHOA” and in previews for the upcoming 3-part reunion special, viewers can see NeNe Leakes talking about Fields’ role on the show as well and telling host Andy Cohen that she didn’t think Fields was a good fit for the show.

When fellow “WWHL” guest RuPaul mentioned the reunion and Fields’ fiery new attitude towards Moore in the previews, Burruss hinted that fans will be shocked by Fields’ behavior at the reunion.

“She turned up!” Burruss said.

Well, we have to agree that Fields does seem like a pretty stellar woman in real life. But when it comes to the world of reality TV, her regular, girl-next-door attitude just doesn’t seem to blend well with the craziness of reality TV. And that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
