The Internet is still buzzing with excitement over the controversial news that Rob Kardashian proposed to his girfriend, Blac Chyna, after only a few months of dating. Since then, Chyna has been excitedly posting cheerful social media posts about her engagement. And now media reports are claiming that Chyna is so happy to become Rob’s wife that she plans on changing her image and name after tying the knot.

According to media reports, Chyna’s real name is Angela White and a rep for the model recently told the press that White plans on getting rid of her “Blac Chyna” name and fully embracing her new life as a Kardashian and going by the name Angela Kardashian.

“She was very excited and loves the ring. She’s happy with him and very happy,” her rep said.

Jeweler Ben Baller, the man behind Rob’s seven-carat diamond engagement ring also opened up about the engagement and explained that Rob had a hand in designing Chyna’s ring.

“Rob had a couple of small ideas,” Baller said, adding Rob “wanted it to be elegant, but still be impressive.”

Of course, the name change will come with a great deal of controversy considering that Chyna spent much of last year beefing with the Kardashians, especially Kylie Jenner, who ended up in a controversial relationship of her own with Chyna’s ex-fiancé, Tyga.

As fans have noted, the decision is also controversial because if Chyna has kids with Rob, not only will she have the Kardashian name, but she’ll be the only woman in the Kardashian family whose kids will carry the famous Kardashian name as well.

With such a dramatic past between Chyna and the Kardashians, we don’t doubt that at least one of the Kardashians is unhappy about Chyna joining the family and taking on their name. However, none of the Kardashian women have directly addressed Chyna’s engagement yet so we’ll have to wait and see what they say.
