International businesswoman, entrepreneur, evangelist, talk-show host, reality TV star and wife are only some of the roles “millionairess” Jewel Tankard plays. This phenomenal woman seems to do it all with ease. She was recently in Detroit taping season two of her nationally syndicated talk show, “The Jewel Tankard Show,” where she discusses everyday issues that impact people’s lives. The show’s producers are promising that this season is going to be amazing. And she’s off to a great start, considering her first quests: Evelyn “Mama” Braxton of “Braxton Family Values” and Vincent M. Ward, who played Oscar in “The Walking Dead.”

Rolling out caught up with Jewel during season two’s first taping to chat about what people can expect from the show.

You made it through an extraordinary season one, and now here we are with season two. How do you feel about taping season two of “The Jewel Tankard Show”?
It’s just like another dream come true. The production team and network are amazing. They allow my creativity and their creativity to come together to create something bigger and better. We are interviewing celebrity guests and guests with powerful stories, so that when people hear them, it will really change their lives.

Tell us about your guests this season. Who can we look forward to seeing on the show?
Evelyn “Mama” Braxton, Vincent Ward from “The Walking Dead,” and Tasha Biltmore, a playwright who has just written my life story called “Motown Girl.” There are some other guests we are looking to have on the show, but until we finalize that info, I can’t release those names. Some other recent guests we had in the opening of season 2 include, Sharron Starks, whose son Christopher Starks was actually murdered in the student union on his college campus, Savannah State. Up until this point, no one has spoken out about it. It’s a very powerful story. We also talked to a high powered woman, Lorra Brown, who has dealt with depression, and a cancer patient named Ashli Hill, who has experienced major affects physically because of the water crisis in Flint.

What can your viewers expect from the show this season? Will there be any surprises?
There will definitely be lots of surprises. I am doing a lot more interactive things with the crowd. My producers have added many new and cool segments. One I will tell you about is we added a marriage game where I am the “love doctor.” It was so fun. You’ll have to tune in for the rest of the surprises.

There’s a “millionairess” segment on the show. Tell us more about that.
The millionairess segment is a time for me to fulfill my passion of financially empowering others. The goal is to get people thinking and enhancing their financial mindset, and that living a life of abundance and overflow is for them.

What’s one piece of advice you would share with aspiring millionairesses?
To never give up and to understand that it’s a process. Don’t stop dreaming and surround yourself with other people who dream and believe in you. Don’t obsess over others’ business so much that you neglect to focus on your own. As you’re blessed, you’ll be able to be a blessing to others.
