Tank has proved many times that he’s not afraid to voice his thoughts on Instagram, whether they be truthful, silly or controversial. And yesterday he decided to be controversial and truthful as he defended the gay community in a post about why people should stop using gay slurs.

As many fans know, Tank became very vocal this year when he opened up on “The Breakfast Club” this January and revealed the he enjoys having his women “toss his salad.”

“I don’t mind putting my legs up,” he said, “I was a young man with an older woman, and she put me on to things. I still remember the first time. I was 18 … she was 26,” he said.

“It felt compromising at first. But then I let go. It was tickling at first … but in about 10 minutes I was like ‘get in there.’ I was spreading the cheeks,” he added.

Since then, Tank has gotten praise from other men who enjoy analingus. However, he’s also gotten shade from men who have challenged his masculinity and used gay slurs against him because he enjoys the sexual act.

Well, in one of his latest Instagram videos, Tank addressed all of the hate over his sexual proclivities and explained that it’s outdated and wrong to use gay slurs and that the term “gay” is not synonymous with “bad” or “less than.”

“I got something on my mind. First of all, I like what I like. I don’t give a f— what y’all think. I’m a nasty motherf—–. It is what it is. But throwing the gay slur around as if it’s the most negative thing you can call a person is very disrespectful and very ignorant because you don’t understand what it is. You’re taking someone’s life and you’re making it negative, you’re making it derogatory. Something they were born into, something that they can’t help but to be,” Tank explained.

He then drew comparisons of sexuality to race and claimed that no one should be judged by how they are born because everyone has a right to be who they are and live freely.

“It’s almost like how you’re born Black. I’m born Black. I can’t help but be Black. That’s just what I am. And somebody says, ‘Oh my God, those guys are acting Black,’ and using it as a negative instead of what it is. My life is positive. A person who’s born a homosexual or whatever, their life is positive. That’s what they’re meant to be. Stop throwing that s— around like that’s the worst thing somebody could be,” Tank said.

The singer finished by saying, “I’m sick of this s—. Love everybody. Light, peace and love all day.”

Kudos to Tank for spreading such a message of personal freedom and acceptance of others.
