Tamar Braxton has been the talk of the town this week, but unfortunately it’s for all the wrong reasons because the multitalented celebrity recently lost her title as daytime talk show host when it was revealed in the most unceremonious manner that she had been fired from “The Real.” Not surprisingly, controversy erupted as producers scrambled to cover up the scandal and some of Braxton’s co-hosts revealed the messiness of her firing. But while fans and non-fans alike talk about Braxton’s exit, new rumors are claiming that producers may already have a replacement for Braxton in mind.
As previously reported, Braxton was fired from the show this past weekend and it’s alleged that she may have found out not much sooner than the rest of us when rumors initially began spreading that producers were going to drop her. Unfortunately, the rumors were quickly confirmed and Braxton made a cryptic Instagram post claiming that she had been betrayed by someone close to her.
Since then, the show and its co-hosts have been swamped with drama as fans have been questioning why Braxton was fired and if any of her cast mates were the ones to betray her. Meanwhile, cast mates such as Loni Love have been denying the accusations and claiming that the entire cast was unaware until the last minute that producers planned to fire Braxton or that any of them would want her gone.
Well, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that things behind the scenes at “The Real” are an unstable mess, but according to media reports, sources claim to know who Braxton is talking about when she claimed someone betrayed her.
“Rachel Miskowiec, she is the executive producer of ‘The Real’ and she is the person who is behind Tamar getting fired. She is who Tamar was talking about,” the sources allege, adding that many people on staff at “The Real” feel like they could be fired at any time.
Sources also say that Miskowiec already has plans to replace Braxton and the woman she’s allegedly eyeing to fill her shoes is up-and-coming actress Keke Palmer. Sources say that Miskowiec has a good relationship with Palmer and is considering bringing her onboard to take over for Braxton next season.
“The person who’s going to replace Tamar is KeKe Palmer,” the source said. “Rachel produced the pilot for Telepictures with KeKe Palmer last summer. She likes KeKe and KeKe of course wants to do another talk show. She’s on the fast track to being in that role.”
For now, the remaining co-hosts are all set to come back for season 3 of the show, but with so much up in the air, we’ll wait to see who is actually sitting in the hosts’ chairs come next TV season.
Meanwhile, Braxton is supposed to address her firing in an upcoming episode of “Braxton Family Values.”
