Chris Brown has a run-in with “cool as sh*t” Amsterdam police. According to Breezy’s Instagram page, the “Loyal” singer was stopped by authorities for driving a motorbike without a license plate and was released after paying a fine. Oddly enough, everyone appeared to become friends in the end.

Naturally, the father of one, took to his Instagram page (following the incident), where he recalled the apprehension. “We’re in the police station,” he said in a video posted Friday evening. “We gotta pay this damn fine. Man, didn’t have no tags. Bike life.”

“Public service announcement, kids. Do not ride motor vehicles without license plates,” he added in a second clip. “Sorry, we just bought the bikes. Forgot about the license plate. Yeah. So. We’re handling the situation as is. But the police are really nice about it, man. I actually like the police out here. They’re cool as s–t. For real.”

“You gotta pay a fine if you don’t have no f–king tags,” he continued in a homie’s video clip. Although Brown did not disclose the amount of the fine, according to Expatica, a Netherlands resource site, driving without insurance or proof of insurance is a fine of EUR130 or $146. We imagine Brown’s fine was comparable.

In California, where Brown lives, brand new vehicles do not come with license plates but drivers can drive temporarily with a registration sticker displayed from the inside until they obtain them. Brown later posted a chummy snap of himself with Dutch cops.

In spite of it all, if the 27-year-old’s IG is any indication of the time he’s had during the European leg of his tour (including Amsterdam), he’s having the time of his life. Up next, the Think Like A Man star is set to perform at the Ziggo Dome in the city on Saturday, June 11.
