On Wednesday, June 29, #HeterosexualPrideDay trended on Twitter, throwing all kinds of shade at this month’s LGBT Pride events and, according to many, totally missing the point.
To be clear, Heterosexual Pride Day is not an actual event. However, the hashtag, which seemed to backfire quickly, drew all kinds of reactions, from memes and couple photos to full blown attacks on straights.
