Kandi Burruss and her Kandi Cares Foundation recently helped families celebrate the return of school with a back to school bash. Held at Lenox Mall in Atlanta, the event featured free ’90s-inspired beauty makeovers, styling tips and fashion must-haves.

Kandi’s groups LOUD and Glamour were also on hand to perform and meet fans. The first 200 customers who spent $35 or more in the mstylelab department were able to meet LOUD and Glamour and received a gift.

“We partnered with Macy’s to mix fashion with music and also give back,” Burruss said.  “Macy’s caters to the whole family and that’s what Kandi Cares is about. We are dedicated to providing education, empowerment and enrichment to the lives of single parents, and children who are the product of single parent homes.”
