Mike Will Made-It celebrated the release of second album for his group, Rae Sremmurd, at Tree Sound Studios in Atlanta. Courvoisier cocktails were on deck.

In 2013, Forbes magazine declared Michael Williams (Mike Will’s government name) “responsible for over $9.8 million worth of singles in that one year.” Now moving forward Mike has completed his 23 album and released his second album, SremmLife 2 for his group Rae Sremmurd.

Mike Will has worked with 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, Ciara, B.o.B, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna and Kanye West, definitely showing growth and flexibility. With the help of his production team, Ear Drummers Productions, a special celebration private dinner for friends and family was definitely in order. What better person to host this event than the GM of Tree Sound, Mali Hunter, the new boss lady on the scene.

Hunter paid much respect to Mike Will for being the stand-up guy he is and keeping his word to his team. Mike Will said a few words after thanking everyone on his team. It was moving to see Williams’ heartfelt acknowledgement of the fact that he was so proud and excited to be in business with his best friend from high school, and being able to deliver a plaque to the team for over five million singles sold in their career.

It was also impressive to see the bond and genuine respect Mike’s team had for each other from Migos, who handles a lot of the business, down to the security team. You don’t really see a lot of this type of respect with teams especially in the rap game. Then again, this is exactly the type of unity this writer has witnessed at Tree Sound Studios. Why else would the mayor’s office and city of Atlanta bless the studio with its own day, July 18? That’s amazing! Giving back to the community and doing good business really pays off. Don’t forget to download SremmLife 2 on Aug. 12. Check out the photo gallery after the break.
