Rapper T-Pain is in mourning and angry over the murder of his niece Javona Glover, 23, on Tuesday. According to police, Glover was working at a West Tallahassee Walgreens when she was stabbed to death early Tuesday morning. When police arrived, Glover was bleeding heavily and according to Glover’s aunt, died in the arms of one of the responding officers. The aunt who did not want to be identified stated to local media, “My niece was my everything. That was just like a daughter to me. I’ve always been in my niece’s life. I love that girl. How you kill a innocent person like her? Whatever you were feeling — that’s crazy man.”

Police are now looking for a suspect identified as Tavon Q. Jackson, 25, who was caught on surveillance cameras running from the drugstore. T-Pain took to social media and posted:

“The police are still lookin for the coward ass n-word that just killed my niece at Walgreens in Tallahassee. If you got info pls help us out!” – T-Pain ‏@TPAIN

In addition the rapper posted: “To all the media/news outlets and bloggers in Tallahassee: pls leave my family the f–k alone. We’re not here for your story. Let us be pls”- – T-Pain ‏@TPAIN

Glover was a loving mother of a daughter who turned 2 this past June. It is not known what the motivation was for the attack or if the two knew each other. Tavon Q. Jackson, described as a five-foot, nine-inch Black male weighing about 160 pounds, was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and white tennis shoes. His whereabouts are currently unknown. The public is being asked to contact the Tallahassee Police Department at (850)-891-4298 #850 if they have any information on the crime or suspect.

Walgreens released a statement saying, “We extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of our team member. The store is temporarily closed while police conduct their investigation and we refer you to police for any additional information.”
