One of the best plans the Women of Bad Boys could have come up with was to talk about empowerment amongst each other. What better way to get women to brunch than to bring them together to talk about good hair products like ORS and conversation regarding #nostereotypes? Faith Evans, Total, Kelly Price and Nicci Gilbert are all women from the ’90’s R&B era whose careers have basically been able to survive and thrive through the empowerment they have received from each other to push forward and let nothing get in their way.

One of the members of Total responded , “One of the biggest reasons we are still able to perform and communicate is because we are friends in real life. Pam is the motivating force in the group Total that sends inspirational messages even to Faith Evans. But foremost we were able to re-join forces because we all believe in the power of prayer.”

The ORS hair product brand placed emphasis on regiments of different #beautychronicles as it related to hair color, dry scalp, conditioning products, and things women of color need to avoid when it comes to giving any attention to #nostereotypes.

Nicci Gilbert, Kelly Price and Keke Wyatt joined the panel and then it was time to pass the tissue. A stream of emotions penetrated the room as the women reminisced on the past and different barriers they had to overcome to regain their music status in order to maintain their longevity to date. Gilbert broke down when she spoke of loosing a member of the group Brownstone, Maxie, to a freakish accident over one year ago. To end things, Kelly Price took us all to church literally as told everyone to embrace their greatness and excel and to cut off whatever is making you stumble.

Price shared her story of how she had to leave a longterm relationship with someone that was proven very toxic to her in order to find her happy. She burst out in song and had the entire room misty eyed. We love us some Kelly Price and on that note, Faith Evans concluded the panel discussion and it closed with a group hug.

Check out the video and photo gallery, after the break.
