Peachtree TV is changing reality television with a docu-series about the life of hip-hop/pop artist Jacques Johnson. At a meet and greet on Wednesday, Sept. 28, Johnson and his cast mates sat down with Larry Love to let folks know what to expect on “Who is Jacques Johnson?”

Johnson’s friends are actually his real friends that he’s grown up with from childhood; all suburban college students with their own goals in life. Seems the one common ground they all had was to support Johnson on his journey to the top. Johnson is not only currently a college student, he is also an executive producer on his show, which makes him one of the youngest executive producers in reality TV.

The show focuses on Johnson paving his way as a rising star, with the support of his mom and friends while still trying to maintain a normal life by attending college. The show details Johnson’s and his squad’s issues, fun, drama, travel and family.

“With me expect the unexpected but always expect to be amazed,” said Johnson, who always takes center stage in this “actuality” reality television series. Rather than seeing a bunch of young adults rent apartments for the show and stage scenarios to entertain you, the public will see who they are in real life and how they manage to assist in making the world know who Johnson really is.

Not only will you see Johnson’s interactions with fans, family, and record labels; you will see the craziness, the rejections, the tears, the music, and several celebrity cameos such as T.I, Lil Boosie, Young Joc, Kandi Burruss Tucker plus NFL star Anthony Smith and other up-and-coming artists will get a chance to showcase their music.

This show should be very interesting as Johnson is not from the streets, nor is he some bad boy artist constantly in trouble with the law. He’s a suburban teen with a support squad that’s not struggling financially. His friends have their own drama too. Nick just settled back into college after getting kicked out of Kennesaw State College. One of the girls is stuck paying for college with her own money and resources after deciding she doesn’t want to be a professional track star, despite winning four medals in high school. Her dad is not happy about this as her decision is affecting a pending scholarship. Meet the rest of the gang during the first episode of the show.

Tune in to CBS/Peachtree TV when the show airs Oct. 9, 2016, at 3 p.m. EST. Check out the photo gallery from the recent meet and greet at the Savoy Lounge.
