Soulja Boy fakes purchase of multimillion-dollar ‘Hollywood’ penthouse


Things are not always what they seem. It appears Soulja Boy Tell’em with his more than 8 million social media followers has been accused of flaunting a $6M luxury penthouse while showing off an Airbnb rental property. In the Instagram clip, Soulja Boy says, “Soulja Boy man, just saying good morning to all the fans. Just spent $6 million for the new penthouse in Hollywood. s––– crazy.

“Six million dollars for the new condo, penthouse. I got four sides, this is only one side. I got a whole other hallway,” while taking fans on a smartphone tour. He brags about the fact the house has 10 bathrooms in a profanity-laced freestyle rap, saying repeatedly, “I got 10 bathrooms, I can s––– all day.”

Busted! The Airbnb penthouse, which is listed for $3.2 million, has three bedrooms and three bath and includes 500 sq. ft of outdoor terrace space perched above the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. The home was also used to shoot the HBO Show, “Entourage.”

The furnishings are the same as the ones in Soulja Boy’s video clip.


DJ Akademiks blasted him on Twitter in a series of tweets: “Smh……….they caught Soulja Boy flexing in his new crib like he paid $6,000,000 for it … turns out it’s just a rental off airbnb.”

“Soulja Boy should have done the normal rapper shit. Just take 1 pic in the crib. say nothing.. and move on. Homie said ‘spent 6 milly on it’

“Soulja Boy had me fooled for like 15 minutes till ppl who actually rented this place from Air BnB before hit me like this a rental bruh (sic)”

TMZ wrote an article claiming they confirmed with Keller Williams Realty agents that the property had not been sold yet, and that its owners were still renting it out.
