Besides running a successful independent business, Harris Candles, DeMarcus and Kevin Harris definitely had a lot to talk about. Do you know what two men, a wedding ring, and a 13-year-old little girl also have in common? They discovered that love can grow and flourish under the same roof.
Rolling out first met the Harris family at the meet and greet for Black Ink Atlanta tattoo shop. There was a pop-up shop set up in the private area of Black Ink, and two handsome young men with the last name of Harris had an array of candles on display. The aroma that filled the shop from those candles was heavenly.
After asking a couple of questions about what we assumed was a family enterprise, we learned the two owners are not brothers, but spouses.
DeMarcus has a 13-year-old daughter of whom he has custody. He and Kevin are very committed to raising their daughter together. The Harrisses stopped by rolling out‘s headquarters to chat about their business and relationship.
