Just when I thought the cast mates of “Black Ink Crew NYC” could do nothing more to surprise me, I got a phone call inviting me to attend a small ceremony that Black Ink founder Ceaser organized to launch Black Ink Cares to support women impacted by domestic violence.

At the event, Ceaser served this small group of ladies a meal provided by a private chef and there was a live DJ. He presented the women with certificates from himself and Black Ink acknowledging their boldness and will to fight to keep living at any cost, even some going to the extent of just picking up and leaving everything and moving to Georgia.

“It was very bold of many of you to pick up and leave a bad situation. I’m here to support you because it’s never OK for our kings to put their hands on our queens. You are the ones who birth our children. My mother told me no matter what you do in life, you always have to turn around and give some of it back to the community and that’s what I plan on doing. I moved to Atlanta to make a difference and not to just open up another tattoo parlor. I want Black Ink to be more than just a place to get tattoos. I want it to be a safe haven for the community, ” explained Ceaser.

With the support of his staff and publicist Jakeem Smith, his entire team was able to pull off this amazing dinner for the ladies. Ceaser was also supported by actor/fitness model Zimzon Lelo and photographer FreddyO. On Mother’s Day, Ceasar invited the ladies back for a day of pampering and mini-makeovers, dinner and a time for celebration. Ceaser is also moving forward with his plans to open his Orlando Tattoo store this Friday, May 5, in Orlando.
