Bruno Mars shows Michelle Obama some love.
The former first lady stepped out to catch a performance by the “Versace of the Floor” singer at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. this weekend, where she received a personalized baseball jersey, etched with her name, of course.
“Last Night in D.C. Mrs. Obama came to the concert and blessed us with her presence #24kmagicworldtour #Hooligans,” Mars, 31, captioned an adorable snap featuring himself and a cheerful Michelle Obama holding up her new threads.
Later, Mars debuted a photo of his sqaud, Obama included. Can you say goals?
Meanwhile, Mars, who is currently on the road for his 24K Magic Tour, has had a slew of celebs show him support. Earlier this month, Garth Brooks surprised his wife, Trisha Yearwood, with a Mars concert date night for her birthday. As previously reported, Beyonce and Jay Z were also spotted at a Mars concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City, last week.
In case you missed it, the singer has much to celebrate these days. His single “24K Magic” recently hit a major music milestone.
In August, Billboard reported that Bruno Mars’ smash record was dubbed certified 2x platinum by the RIAA, with both his singles “24K Magic” and “That’s What I Like” also earning 4x platinum certifications. During the week of July 20, 24K Magic reached the one million sales mark in the U.S, making it the “Uptown Funk” crooner’s third million-selling record.
Not to mention, 24K Magic marks Mars’ third straight multi-platinum LP. His debut album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans, is certified 5x platinum by the RIAA, and his sophomore disc, Unorthodox Jukebox, is certified 4x platinum. There’s just no stopping the kid.
What better way to keep the celebration going than with a cute photo opp with Obama?
