A disturbing video has been making the rounds on social media called the #NoLackChallenge. The video shows an unidentified man pointing a gun at people and waiting to see if they respond by pointing their gun back at him. People pull handguns and assault rifles and laugh the whole thing off. The video is surprising also because it shows racial diversity. In one scene at a Chinese restaurant, a worker behind the counter shows that they are not lacking a gun in response to the challenge. The video was shot in the Memphis, Tennesee, area and shows that there are many in the city who apparently love their guns.

The video can be viewed below:

  1. Wow. This really is disturbing. These incidents are obviously staged, but staging incidents in which people draw guns on each other is inherently dangerous.

The people in these videos violate the first rule of gun handling – never point your gun at anyone.

Probably the most dangerous part of this video is that there are probably people watching this stupid enough to think it would be funny to run around doing this to unsuspecting people.
