Sean Combs
Although he didn’t receive his bachelor’s degree before departing, Sean Combs still reps Howard University to the fullest. The mogul made a donation of $1M to the university in 2016, after receiving his honorary doctorate years prior. During his Washington, D.C. stop of his Bad Boy Family Reunion tour, Combs told the crowd the school “changed his life” by making him believe he could achieve anything.
Lance Gross
Lance Gross wouldn’t be the actor he is today without HU. Gross developed his initial acting skills by taking an Intro to Acting course, which introduced him to the art. By attending the HBCU, the actor notes that Howard specifically promotes a beneficial environment that contributes to success.
