Beyoncé’s former manager Mathew Knowles may not have inside access to his pop goddess daughter anymore. But that doesn’t mean that he’s not going to defend his eldest daughter and the group he founded, Destiny’s Child — one of the most commercially successful girl groups in the history of American music.

When Wendy Williams threw some serious shade at a possible Destiny’s Child reunion as well as Knowles himself. Dismissing Knowles as “shady Knowles” and “shiny Knowles,” Williams basically said that Beyoncé is so sucessful and has so much money that she is only reuniting with the rest of the group (sans Farrah) to throw them a bone and give them one last shot at first-class fame.

It came as a shock to no one that he clapped back at Williams with a classy video (sprinkled with valid/alternative facts, accomplishments and accolades) that got Twitter twittering.

Check out the video of Williams hate below (about the 6:38 mark), followed by the response from Knowles and Black Twitter’s assessment of the dust-up.
