Jay-Z explains what makes a great rapper

David Letterman entered the homes of his viewers for more than 30 years as host of “Late Night” and “Late Show.” He’s now hosting a Netflix-original talk show, “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.”

The TV legend will bring to the show global influencers who intrigue him for 60-minute in-depth conversations. The interviews take place both indoor and outdoor. His past lineup included influential guests such as George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai, Tina Fey, Howard Stern and President Barack Obama.

Here’s the first look at Friday’s (April 6) episode where Jay-Z breaks down what makes a great rapper. The 4:44 artist also speaks on his impressions of Snoop Dogg and Eminem during his chat. Jay-Z opens up about family, politics and his personal life.

The rapper speaks of the profundity of certain aritsts. “There are multiple ways to be really good … Some people just have it all,” he says.
