Rolling out to launch 'rolling out LIVE' podcast platform on Sept. 4

Steed Media Group, the parent company of rolling out, is proud to announce the launch of “rolling out LIVE,” an expansion of its digital media network starting Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018. This new and exciting initiative will offer a platform featuring seven new one-hour talk shows with some of the hottest hosts from coast to coast engaging with audiences about the day’s most newsworthy, trending and provocative topics.

The shows will be broadcast weekly each Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on rollingout.com and facebook.com/rollingout.

Rolling out LIVE will be organic conversations over a variety of shows such as technology, politics, food, beverages, relationships, inspiration and empowerment — all designed to give our viewers and listeners an important, insightful and always fun take on our community and the world.”


Rolling out to launch 'rolling out LIVE' podcast platform on Sept. 4The new platform and lineup were added after the successful May 1 launch of  “100-Proof Radio Show,” a digital podcast airing Tuesdays at 9 p.m. (EST). The “100-Proof Radio Show” is hosted by journalist and spirits connoisseur Jé Wesley Day, who leads a lively weekly discussion with subject-matter experts about the etiquette and decorum of drinking alcoholic beverages in various social settings, while also dispelling myths and stigmas surrounding alcohol consumption.

The seven new shows joining rolling out LIVE’s weekly Tuesday lineup are: 

“Lé Kitchen”
Host: Chef Ryan “It’s Wood” Givens
Time slot: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Synopsis: Chef 
Wood will catch up with the who’s who in the culinary community as he highlights their stories from Food Network endeavors, to established restaurants and food trucks, to exclusive untold celebrity stories. He also dishes with some of the hottest artists in the game about their culinary journeys as he simultaneously remixes their favorite home-cooked meals.

“Dunamis Woman Today”
Host: Davetta “Dee” Collins
Time slot: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Synopsis: Dunamis Woman Today provides real talk, promotes real life, presents real problems and provides real solutions about life and relationships from a spiritual and historical perspective. Collins says she and her guests are committed to telling the truth about marriage, dating, sex, divorce, finances, entrepreneurship business and other topics and challenging the minds of the show’s listeners to break through their barriers for greater success in all domains of life.

“Tech Tuesdays with Randy Fling”
Host: Randy Fling
Time slot: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Synopsis: Fling, a Georgia Tech alum, tech enthusiast, tech investor and COO for Steed Media Group, will chat with successful startup founders, app developers, venture capitalists, angel investors, technology policymakers and other technology thought leaders. Listeners will step into the future now as they learn about hot apps and products before they hit the market and gain resources to help them get into the tech space if that’s their interest.

“Sucka Free with Rashad Richey & Friends”
Hosts: 
Rashad Richey, Nicole English and Mitchell Shelby
Time slot: 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Synopsis: Richey is a radio personality, TV commentator and college professor who keeps it 100. 
English is a no-nonsense Southern chick who thinks too much, talks too much and feels passionate about everything. Shelby is a controversial Black conservative who is always ready to share his opinion. This thought-provoking trio will share their differing viewpoints on politics, society, entertainment and the day’s major headlines and headliners while keeping viewers listening, laughing and engaged.

“Lipstick & Cognac”
Host: Rodney (Cognac) and Patreceia (Lipstick)
Time slot: 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Synopsis: 
Lipstick is the down-to-earth voice of reason. Cognac is the tell-it-like-it-is personality. This crazy, intellectual, no-holds-barred duo has created a judgment-free space where their viewers and guests can openly discuss relationships and day-to-day issues that we all encounter — whether gay or straight, Black or White, single or married — and keep them laughing in the process. 

“The Erica Thomas Show” 
Host: Georgia State Rep. Erica Thomas
Time slot: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Synopsis:  Thomas, a Democrat representing Georgia’s 39th District, breaks down the day’s top news and politics. Her show also will feature a special segment for millennials called “Hip-Hop and Politics,” with some of our favorite celebrities weighing in on what’s happening around the world.

“The Padded Room”
Host: DJ Waffles
Time slot: 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Synopsis: Viewers who love music will want to tune in to hear celebrity DJ Waffles interview up-and-coming artists and spin the latest tunes first.

The seven new shows were chosen during an open call held at rolling out studios in June, where individuals were invited to pitch their ideas. Steed Media Group would like to congratulate all of the hosts on their new podcasts and invite viewers to tune in to catch all of these phenomenal shows streaming live at www.rollingout.com and on rolling out‘s Facebook page from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. starting Tuesday, Sept. 4.
