
The 2019 GMC Yukon Denali XL stands as the pre-eminent SUV in its class. For one week during the holiday season, rolling out was given an opportunity to test drive this vehicle, which exudes power, style and class.
During a three-hour road trip north of the Atlanta area, we had a chance to test some of its technology, audio and safety features. The first thing that stands out is the enormous size of the Yukon Denali XL, which comes with third-row seating and can accommodate up to eight adults comfortably.
Several features will keep passengers entertained during long road trips, such as the rear-seat entertainment system, which includes an HDMI/MHL connector, USB ports, digital headphones and device projection. For passengers who need to be connected to the internet during the trip, up to seven devices can be connected to Wi-Fi with GMC 4G LTE connectivity.

The GMC Infotainment System features an 8-inch color touchscreen which includes navigation, music, climate control, and Apple CarPlay to connect for cell phone use.
Elite safety features include Standard Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Side Blind Zone Alert with Lane Change Alert, which notify the driver when cars and pedestrians are close to the vehicle.

Parents with teenage drivers can use the Standard Teen Driver Mode to set a maximum speed and volume controls whenever teens get behind the wheel.
Underneath the hood, the 2019 GMC Yukon Denali XL comes standard with a 6.2L V-8 engine with direct injection and Active Fuel Management, which provides 420 horsepower and is matched with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
