The Nissan Maxima is burning up the road with a bold new design and look. The iconic Maxima sports sedan enters the 2019 model year with a list of enhancements and versatility.

At first glance, you see Maxima’s aggressive, updated exterior appearance. There is a noticeable change when comparing the 2018 Maxima to the new 2019. From the more defined front grille with a deeper V-motion, which flows into the hood, to the jewel-like LED headlights and daytime running lights, it hits the mark.Another great feature is Nissan’s new Safety Shield 360. The Safety Shield 360 is a six-point safety and driver-assist technology which includes 10 airbags, including front driver and passenger’s knee and rear seat side supplemental airbags. Safety Shield 360 is available in select Nissan 2019 models such as Maxima, Altima, Rogue SV and SL grades.

Nissan had the driver in mind with its ‘driver-oriented cockpit’ and comfortable seating for all five occupants. Seating includes premium luxury appointments with new seat insert pattern and charcoal headliner and pillars for both the SR and platinum reserve package grades.

Other noteworthy enhancements include:

  • Rear Door Alert (RDA) for all grade levels
  • Revised SiriusXM® Radio with advanced auto features (subscription required)
  • Revised Nissan door-to-door navigation system, (standard on all grades except S)

Nissan’s manufacturer suggested retail price ranges from $33,950 – $41,440. As test driven, the Maxima SR was $39,530.
