Antonio Brown quits the NFL and blasts Patriots owner Robert Kraft

Ousted and outcast NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown has employed a scorched-earth policy during his Twitter tirades after being terminated on Friday, Sept. 22.

When the New England Patriots fired Brown, 31, on Friday, that represented the third team that Brown was essentially ex-communicated from in 2019 (Oakland and Pittsburgh are the other two).  Now Brown is getting some payback via Twitter.

Brown has fired up the blowtorch the to the backsides of former teammates, bosses and contemporaries on his way out of the NFL, proclaiming to the world that he no longer wants to play in America’s most popular sport because of rampant hypocrisy.

Brown is claiming that he is being victimized by a double standard from the league office. The NFL, he says, did not punish Patriots owner Robert Kraft after he was charged with soliciting a prostitute at a grimy Florida massage parlor in 2018. Thus far, the league has not handed down any administrative action against the owner of the defending Super Bowl champs.

Brown, meanwhile, has not been charged with a crime. But he is being sued by former trainer Britney Taylor for alleged sexual assault on three occasions.
