Jasmine Burke shines in BET’s romantic comedy ‘Angrily Ever After’

It’s also a real benefit to have Vaughn and Sigers-Beedles in your corner as Burke took on her first starring role. Vaughn and Sigers-Beedles brought us the record-breaking movies Girlfriends Getaway and When Love Kills.

Sigers-Beedles said she sculpted the screenplay based upon a book titled Angry Black Woman and developed “a romantic comedy about taking a tragic situation and using your sense of humor to rise and make yourself a better person,” she said.

“Angrily Ever After” premiered Saturday, Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. on BET and BET Her. It will later air on Sunday, Sept. 22 on BET VOD, BET.com, BET App and BET International.
