T.I., Chance the Rapper and Cardi B are bringing a new music competition to Netflix.
“Rhythm + Flow” is a new music competition led by the three powerhouses with the goal of finding the next big rap superstar.
The first episode, which is out now on the streaming platform, features the trio heading to Los Angeles to kick off the search.
On Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019, Atlanta’s own T.I. teased the episode by sharing a clip of him dropping in on late rapper Ermias Asghedom, aka Nipsey Hussle.
In the video, you can see the Grand Hustle record label head meeting up with the community activist, philanthropist and entrepreneur at Inglewood’s 1500 Sound Academy, where Hussle worked on his Grammy-nominated album Victory Lap.
T.I. shards with Hussle his thoughts about the rapper’s final project before his death.
“Victory Lap, man, to me is still album of the year. When I heard that album I learned more about you,” T.I. said.
Many people responded.
One wrote, “This SOLID bruh, LONG LIVE NIP 4eva.”
Another shared, “We lost a real one!!! Doing great things for the community!”
Yet another replied, “This put chills on me! Love my people! Our brother @nipseyhussle may not be with us in the flesh but best believe he is with us all in spirit! He’s at that next level of life! With the ALMIGHTY One! The Most High God!”
“Awwww what a beautiful interaction amongst two black kings,” another responded.
