Candace Owens found another way to agitate thousands on social media with a controversial comment. On Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019, the Trump-loving conservative took aim at Meghan Markle on Twitter for comments she made during a documentary filmed in Africa.

During a segment of the documentary, Harry and Meghan: An African Journey, Markle spoke about the issues she has faced while adjusting to being in the spotlight, according to The Sun.

When asked about her mental and physical health by the host of the ITV-produced documentary, Markle said, “Look, any woman, especially when they are pregnant, you’re really vulnerable, and so that was made really challenging, and then when you have a newborn…And, thank you for asking, because not many people have asked if I’m OK. But it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.”

Owens apparently had a problem with Markle’s comments about her personal issues and shared her thoughts on Twitter.

“Using African children as a backdrop to complain about your over-privileged life is offensive,” Owens tweeted. She also took aim at Prince Harry by tweeting, “Invoking your own mother’s tragic death to demand the press stop calling out your hypocritical wife is downright disgusting.”

Owens ended her rant by tweeting, “Meghan Markle is a witch. Harry is under her spell.”

For several years, Owens has used her platform to counter Black progression. Owens, who was once a liberal, has embraced Donald Trump and anti-Black rhetoric to gain a larger standing within right-wing political circles.

After her rant on social media, Owens was blasted on Twitter.
