Music also served as a driving force at ComplexCon. Kid Cudi was the headliner of day one and brought his melodic flow and several surprises, including a guest appearance from Pusha T.

On day two of ComplexCon, Rico Nasty gave the crowd her aggression and high energy as she sang “Smack a B—-” and “Rage.”

21 Savage followed Rico Nasty and performed his signature hits “Bank Account,” “No Heart” and “A Lot.”

North Carolina rapper DaBaby made a surprise appearance after 21 Savage’s set and performed his hits, “Suge,” “Baby on Baby,” and “Cash S—.” He also rapped “Bop,” “Vibez,” and “Intro” from his debut album, KIRK.

Overall, ComplexCon found a way to make the idea of “cool” a commodity without forcing the issue. And for that alone, it deserves its place as one of the top events for hip-hop, art and fashion.
