Who are your favorite photographers?
Some photographers that I appreciate are Gordon Parks, Howard Bingham, DeWayne Rogers, and Derek Blanks. I love a lot of my contemporaries, they all have talent and a unique way of executing a vision. My immediate mentors are Dexter Cohen [Virginia Beach] and Jenell Webb (Virginia). They were the two guys [who] gave me advice and guidance when I needed it.
One cool thing about me:
I proposed to my wife on “The Queen Latifah Show” in 2014.
