Do you believe being a “creative” has lost its authentic meaning?
I definitely think the word has been taken out of context, but with the world
constantly evolving and new text being added into everyone’s daily vocabulary, I do think
“creative” still is very much “authentic.” It’s just [that] everyone thinks it’s a simple mechanism or task when, in all actuality, being a creative in itself is everlasting and continuously changing.
What is one passion project that you are hoping to pursue in the future?
One of my most recent passion projects is my PRISMA series. [I’m] currently
working on PRISMA 4 — a sexy, creative spin on applying color to the rich melanin skin tones of some of Atlanta’s prominent up-and-coming models.
What advice do you have for aspiring photographers?
My best advice would be to surround yourself with positive people who truly support you, stay centered and remain positive about your craft.
What is one thing cool about you?
I love teaching up-and-coming photographers.
