A new Netflix documentary titled “LA Originals” will examine the influence of Chicano art on LA hip-hop. The film’s subjects — tattoo artist Mister Cartoon and photographer Estevan Oriol — are the creatives behind some of West Coast rap’s most iconic images, most notably Snoop Dogg, Xzibit and Dr. Dre.
“LA Originals” debuts on Netflix on April 10.
