Designer Areeayl Goodwin describes how she felt when Beyoncé wore her jewelry

How does it feel to see your jewelry worn by Beyoncé?

I’m so honored. There’s nowhere else I would rather be in history. The statement that she’s making on “Find Our Way Back,” which is another song that she has on the album that I listen to almost daily, is important to me. It’s what I stand for, and what my line stands for. … She used so many Black designers and I’m just honored to be amongst one of them. We’re also featured on “Black Parade” on her website. I’m honored and so proud of the work that she’s doing for Black artists and Black people. To be a part of it lets me know that I’m on the right path.

I’m so thankful for all of the love I received for the new “Going Back Home” Collection 🕊 I’ve put a lot of love and thought in these pieces. They are inspired by my revelations through self therapy sessions in my journal. I’ve been spending time asking myself “invasive” questions and answering them honestly and boldly, seeing myself through family (seen and unseen) and friends, opening myself up to see love all around. Thank you @rocknrollazero & @totianamonay for sharing space, love and shooting in my childhood home using my moms everyday “props” in the backyard. Her green thumb is the background. The “Going Back Home” Collection has been updated today and is available 🕊
