Zoë Kravitz surprised pop culture when she filed for divorce from her husband of just 18 months.
Kravitz, 32, the daughter of beloved actress Lisa Bonet and rocker Lenny Kravitz, filed the legal documents on Dec. 23, 2020, to end her marriage with her 32-year-old husband Karl Glusman, People magazine confirms.
The entertainment publication did not give a reason for the split.
The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary in June 2020 after getting married in 2019 at the Paris home of Kravitz’s famous father.
But what the husband penned in his Instagram post back in the summer, in retrospect, can now be seen as a sign of things to come at the end of the year.
“One year. *🌀‼️❔*🌀❕Not the year we expected,” Glusman wrote at the time of their anniversary, “but I feel like if we can make it through this, we can take on anything. I love you. More than anything.”
Glusman continued: “You’re my best friend… you crack me up and you melt my heart… you call me out on my bulls— and you challenge me to grow… I love you for that. And I’ll do anything and everything for you until the day I die. Now let’s go save the world @zoeisabellakravitz.”
