Why is it important for women of color to work in leadership roles and decision-making capacities?


The world would be so much more advanced if all of these untapped resources were to be utilized. It is also important for women of color to be in these positions because that is what will usher in the future generation of more Black girl bosses. When young Black girls see women of color in key leadership positions, it gives them hope and encourages them to dream big and to live without limits.


If you could thank any Black woman for her contributions to history and society, who would it be and why?
