Publisher Helen Hope Kimbrough is the glue holding her family and business together

What encouraging piece of advice would you give to your younger self?

The advice that I would give to my younger self would be: Never be afraid to uniquely stand out, be confident in your God-given talents and gifts, and be patient.

If you could thank any Black woman historymaker for her contributions to society, who would it be and why?

The Black woman historymaker that I would thank is Harriet Tubman. She was a pure example of servant leadership and made significant contributions to free slaves who were held captive. Ms. Tubman navigated a way, instituted a blueprint with codes and symbols, created partnerships to fulfill a mission, and led others with genuine concern toward freedom and opportunity.
