Just one week before his murder in Memphis, Young Dolph and Soulja Boy were embroiled in beef on social media regarding their cars, careers and who had the biggest bag.

The acrimony culminated in Soulja, 31, mocking the fact that Dolph, 36, had been shot at multiple times in different cities. Soulja reiterated the stance when he recently appeared on “The Breakfast Club” morning radio show.

Dolph was tragically shot and killed at a cookie shop in Memphis on Wednesday after, Nov. 17, 2021.

In recent months, according to the British-based outlet The Sun, Dolph, whose real name was Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., was involved in bickering with the likes of Yo Gotti and Blac Youngsta as well as Soulja Boy.

The beef Dolph had with Soulja began on Instagram on Nov. 10, 2021, with Dolph, saying: “How da f— I’m a independent artist and gettin 100rax plus for a show?”

“How da f— @keyglock got more cars & ice than you & your ceo?”

When Soulja Boy learned of Dolph’s braggadocio on social media, he clapped back at Dolph, saying, “That’s big cap.

“They signed to @empire I’m really 100% Independent no cap.”

He then went on to address Dolph and his team directly via Instagram videos, writing: “Man, Young Dolph, if you don’t get your b—- a– artist out my m—-f—–g DM, n—-.”

“F— you talkin’ bout, n—-? N—- thought he was bulletproof ‘til he got shot like Dolph, n—-. F— you talkin’ ‘bout, n—-? Ain’t you the n—- getting shot at 100 times?

Soulja Boy is referencing the time in 2017, when Dolph’s car was shot over 100 times in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the time Dolph was shot in Los Angeles a few months later.
