Chris Brown released his 10th studio album on June 24 titled Breezy. Apparently, the lack of support for the album was something that Brown didn’t expect, and on July 3 he went on Instagram to express his frustrations.
“Seems like y’all only invest in the negative stories about me,” Brown wrote in a post. “Chris gets in trouble (the whole world is on it). Chris drops album [cricket emojis].”
On July 11, T-Pain weighed in on Brown’s frustrations in an interview with DJ Akademiks, and said that the singer deals with a condition called “princess complex,” also known as princess syndrome.
“That is my motherf—— n—-, but I know what his faults are,” T-Pain said. “The princess complex is not only when you get what you want, but you get the accolades of a pretty person for doing absolutely f—— nothing, and just being pretty.”
T-Pain continued and said that Brown should take accountability, rather than blame it on other people.
“It’s never going to be, ‘What the f— is wrong with me, or what do I need to change, or how can I approach this differently?’
“Every time he drops, it’s always gone really f—— good. Every f—— time. So now it’s like, y’all must have done something wrong because I’ve done the same thing that I’ve done every time. Cause it ain’t me. I know what I’m doing. I’m f—— Chris Brown.”
Do you think Brown suffers from a sense of entitlement?
