SZA takes fans on a joyride during SOS Tour

The SOS Tour stopped in Atlanta for the night

Fans have been waiting since 2017 for the return of SZA after her debut album CTRL set the music world ablaze. Six years later, the Top Dawg Entertainment artist came back and delivered her sophomore album, SOS

On March 7, SZA  performed in Atlanta and took the crowd on a joyride in her boat for about two hours, performing songs off her latest album, while also singing songs from CTRL that many still love.

SZA started her performance with “PSA,” an unreleased song that she’s teased numerous times. The last time she posted the song was on her birthday to hint at the release of SOS. That’s when she took a dive into the ocean, which got fans excited and ready for the rest of the show.

The artist followed up with two songs off her latest album “Seek and Destroy” and “Notice Me.” She then went back to her old music, performing “Love Galore,” which features Travis Scott. Due to technical difficulties, the show stopped for 15 minutes, but SZA came back out and kept the good vibe going with another oldie, “Broken Clocks.”

With the performance being in Atlanta, it was only right that some of the best artists in the city came out to perform. First, it was Summer Walker, who performed “No Love” with SZA. Next up was Lil Baby, who always knows how to hype up his hometown, as he performed the song “Forever,” from his latest album.

SZA came back and ran down the list of new and old, performing “Smoking on my Ex Pack” and “Low” from her latest album, “All The Stars” from the Wakanda Forever soundtrack, and “Prom,” “Garden (Say It Like Dat),” “Drew Barrymore” and “Supermodel” from CTRL.

The next part of the show became angelic, as SZA came out in a tulle dress, and floated over the crowd in a small, orange inflatable boat, performing “Supermodel,” “Nobody Gets Me” and “Gone Girl.”

For the final act of SZA’s performance, she performed her intro song “SOS” and “Love Language.” Reeling the crowd in for the final moment, she ran off her most popular songs such as “Snooze,” “Kill Bill,” “I Hate U,” “The Weekend” and “Good Days.”

At the end of her performance, SZA gave a shout-out to the city of Atlanta and thanked the crowd for their patience through the early technical difficulties. She said that performing in Atlanta is very special to her, and played a sneak preview of her upcoming music video for “Low.”

“Atlanta mattered a lot to me because I count this as the biggest city, personally. I just wanted to say thank you for f—— with me and for coming,” SZA said. “I hope y’all had a good time, and I hope to see you again soon.”
