“Love & Hip Hop New York” alum Jim Jones was embroiled in a brawl with two White men while riding an escalator at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport in Broward County, Florida.
There has yet to be a completed report on what precipitated the fight, but Jones, 47, can be seen on video obtained by TMZ, riding an escalator. The fight had already begun with the unknown person riding the escalator and flipped him down the stairs.
At the bottom of the escalator, amid a pile of bodies, the fight intensified. Officers can be seen descending on the scene and quickly breaking up the melee. One man was left bleeding from the right side of his face while another suffered a significant leg injury after the thrown body landed on it.

Jim Jones claims self-defense
Jones let go of the beaten man without resistance at the officers’ urging. He was separated from the pack as he yelled, “It’s two of them against me.”
Jones obeyed the order to take a seat as the officers tried to determine the cause of the fisticuffs. The bleeding man who took the brunt of Jones’ punishment was belligerent and had to be restrained by several airport cops.
Jones was later contacted by TMZ where again, the media was unable to procure the origin of the brawl.
The publication reported that Jones told them; “I was minding my business and defended myself. They got what they were looking for.”
On his Instagram page, the Harlem, New York, native told his nearly four million followers that he would eventually address what went down at the South Florida airport.
