'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' Premieres to 3.6 Million Viewers: Top Viewed Reality TV Episodes

VH1 scores another reality TV hit with “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.” The premiere show garnered a total of 3.6 million viewers. It was also the top rated show on cable for women in the 18-49 demographic.


The show follows the lives of Stevie J, K. Michele, Karlie Redd, Rasheeda, Joseline, Lil Scrappy, Erica Dixon and Momma Dee as they deal with personal issues while navigating through the entertainment industry.


Although the show proved to be a ratings bonanza, it caught flack for its controversial portrayals of blacks. Some viewers slammed the show on Twitter and Facebook while others were drawn to the show’s ongoing drama.

With money and ratings serving as the bottom line, we all can expect another season of “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta.”
