NBC cancels ‘Deception,’ Meagan Good speaks up

Despite all the anticipation and it’s all star cast including Meagan Good and Laz Alonso, NBC has offically cancelled “Deception.”


While we are sad to see the drama end at the finish of it’s first season. Mrs. Franklin seems to be keeping her spirits high saying:


“I’m sorry everyone… I just wanted to let you know that NBC has decided not to re-new “Deception”… and I just wanted you guys to hear from me first. I am so thankful and humbled ..and blessed by the out pour of love and support -to see it come back … and saddened that it is not… Thank you so much for supporting me means so much… Well as I can before …Daddy always does best onward and upward … Thank you NBC for the Opportunity- I’m definitely better for it ! … Lego ..”

Co-star Laz Alonso chimmed into the action with a tweet stating:


“Thanks 2 all those who loved, supported & fought 4 #Deception!!! #BestFansEver.”

While were not surprised by the shows cancellation as it struggled with rotten ratings throughout it’s first year. Meagan Good just can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to booking solid work.
